Won't Contaminants Score the Bearing without Grease Flushing?
A metal bearing would become scored and damaged without regular grease flushing. How does PolyLube avoid this?
Particles are moved from the load-bearing area of the bearing to lower pressure areas. The bearing modulus relative to the steel pin allows elastic deformation of the bearing to ultimately move the contamination out of the joint.
Reduce Job Site Grease Contamination
Many construction projects are now required to have site clean up for hydrocarbon contaminates upon completion. Greased joints contribute significantly to the amount of time and expense to return the jobsite to the required levels. Polygon bearings require no grease.
